Privacy policy
This policy describes how handpiece.com handles information. It is written to match what the site actually does, which is deliberately little.
What we collect
Nothing by default. This site does not set analytics cookies, does not run advertising trackers, and does not build profiles of visitors. There is no account system and no login.
Forms and contact
There are no forms on this site. Nothing is ever submitted to a server from a page, because there is no server-side code behind the site at all — no PHP, no form endpoint, no database. Every contact route is an ordinary email link to hello@handpiece.com.
Some pages offer ready-made message templates. Those simply compose text in your browser and hand it to your own mail application; nothing is transmitted to us until you press send in your own email client. Whatever you send is then handled as ordinary email correspondence.
If you email us, we hold your message and your address for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, and we do not add you to any mailing list without asking.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested — typically IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. This is used for security and to keep the site working, and it is retained according to the host's own policy. We do not use it to identify individuals.
Third parties
The site loads its own stylesheet, scripts and icon from this domain, so no third-party content is fetched when you browse a page. If we later add an external service — for example a newsletter provider or an embedded video — this policy will be updated first and the change will be described here.
Outbound links
Some pages link to other websites, including supplier and manufacturer sites. Once you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies and we have no control over it. Where a link is part of a commercial relationship, it is disclosed on our disclosure page.
Your choices
- You can browse the entire site without giving us any information at all.
- You can ask us to delete any email correspondence you have sent, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
- You can ask what correspondence we hold about you. Email hello@handpiece.com.
Children
This site is aimed at dental professionals and technicians. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
This policy is written for a small, static reference site and should be reviewed against the requirements of the jurisdictions you serve before it is relied upon. It is a description of practice, not legal advice.
Changes
If the site starts collecting anything additional, this page will say so before that happens, with the date updated above.
